Yesterday’s sale at the above yards attracted the usual attendance off buyers and competition was brisk throughout the sale. Prices, were distinctly in advance of the previous fixture at these yards and ranged as follows: —Heavy ox beef 41s to 455, .prime medium weight ox 42s fid to 47s fid, heifer beef 37s fid to 42s fid, cow beef from 35s to 41s per hundred. An entry of 11 rtiiiiicrs for Mr H. Reynolds made the excellent average' of £5 1.65. .Mesrs W. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows: —For -Mr W. Died rich 2 bullocks at £l4, 2 at £ls, 2 at £ls JOs. 1 -at £l6 12s fid. 1 at £ls 15s, 2 at. £ls 'lss, 2 heifers' at' £lO 10s, 1 at £ll 1.55. 1' at £ll 12s fid, 1 at £l2, 1 cow at £lO 12s fid, 1 at £ll 10s. For Mr H. Reynolds 2 runners at £6 7s fid. 2-at £s‘os,* 1 'at £4 10s, ; 2at£s 1 l-2s-fid, 1. at £6 2s fid, 1 at £5 7s fid. 1 at £7 2s fid, 1 at £5 7s fid. For Mr D. •C. Finch 1 1 cow at £ll 12s Cd. For a client 2 bullocks at £l3, 1 at £l2, 5 at £l4, 4 at £l3 10s.
