At Cambridge (Massachussets) the Yale-Harvard track team defeated Ox-ford-Camhridge team by 8V to 3£ in the ninth meeting, giving the Americans five victories to four. The British team struggled valiantly hut was no match ifor Americans. Harper of Oxford won I2ovrds hurdles with Mann second.. VARSITY TENNIS TEAM. At South Orange (New Jersey) Ox-ford-Cambridge tennis team gained a 4 to. 2 lead in the singles and 2 to 1 in the doubles against Princeton Williams team, out of twenty-one matches. Young defeated Richard Shonff of Williams University (5-3 6-3 but when paired with Avery of Cambridge in the doubles lost to Straehen and Thomas of Princeton 6-4 6-4.
