OPOSSUM SEASON
REQUEST FOR EXTENSION. (By Telegraph.—Special to Guardian). WELLINGTON, July 15. A request by Westland Acclimatisation Society to extend the opossum trapping season tor a fortnight has also been agreed to by the Grey distrmand Buller Societies. The matter is now being placed befor the Minister of Internal Affairs for approval, which is expected to be favourable.
