BIG WAGE CUT
-• t i FOR HALF MILLION WORKERS. (United Press ' Association.—By Elect rn Telegraph.- -Copyright.) LONDON, July 13. The cotton employers of Britain are posting notices at their mills immediately to the effect that the wages of their employees will FTfe reduced by twelve and a half per cent, as from July 29. The mills, says the notices, will open on that day at the revised rate. It is regarded as certain that there will he a general stoppage on ih< part of the mill workers unless the Minister of Labour intervenes. Half a million workers will he affected by the reduction.
