PIPE BANDS
A-COMING CONTEST. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, July 13. At a meeting of the New Zealand Highland Pipe Bands Association the Chairman asid that in connection with the Brass Bands Contest to be held at Dunedin next February it was proposed to hold a Pipe Bands Contest on similar lines to the one held in Christchurch, the contest being arranged by the South Island Brass Bands Association.
