STEAMER AFIRE. SYDNEY, July 12. News was received in Sydney that a fire had broken out in the hold of.the steamer King Chdwallon, en route from Durban to Adelaide. The vessel, which is bringing coal to Australia, has been ordered back to Durban. ■ SENTENCED TO DEATH. V ADELAIDE, July l2f John McGrath was found guilty of the murder of Constable Holman and was sentenced to death.,-
