An armed robber held lip the North Adelaide branch of the Government Savings- Bank at mid-day. He shut tne manager and Ins assistant in a vault and stole £O3O. He escaped in a car that was driven by a woman. 11
COUPLE ARRESTED
ADELAIDE, July 4
Following the hank hold-up, the police have arrested a motorist couple up at the country town of Swan reach. The pair gave the names of Air and Airs Walker. They .are being charged with robbery under «-riis.
ADELAIDE, July 4
In connection with the hank , holdup, the correct names of those arrested should be John Walker, aged 27, and Lorraine Delanty. aged 22. The latter has not' yet been charged. Walker, however, has been charged with robbery under arms.
