The ex-Minister of Finance, Czechowic«, was charged before the State Tribunal with unconstitutional conduct, in net submitting to the Diet’s ratification of expenditure of six hundred million zlotys. The chief figure is Pit sudski, Czechowicz being the nominal accused. WARSAW, June 30. As. the outcome of Marshal Pilsudski’s duel in the Diet (cabled on 20th June) the State Court decided to terminate the proceedings against Czechowicz, without giving judgment. y This is generally interpreted as a victory for Pilsudski, though the Court was actually evading a decision, declaring it could not come to a final decision until the Diet had dec'/led regarding the propriety of the disputed expenditure which the foes ctf Pilsudski state was used to finance the G vernmont party at the general election.
