At Roosevelt flying field, New York, Woolmcr Stulta, a famous flier, who piloted Miss Earhart across the Atlantic,' was killed in a spectacular crash with two companions, when a biplane in which Stulz was pilot, rose with the the intention off stunting. The machine went into a tailspin at 200 feet, spun down at a break-neck speed, striking the ground with a terrific noise and barely missing a motor truck in which two men were sitting. His companions were killed instantly and Stultz died in the hospital immediately afterwards.
