Privy Councillors: Mr Douglas Hacking, Earl Howe, Mr Douglas King, Lord Plymouth, Sir Phillip Sassoon, Viscount Wolmer, Sir Francis Lowe. Baronetcies: Mr Betterton (la e Parliamentary, ..Secretary to the Ministry of Labour), Mr Alfred Butt (theatrical producer), /Mr Geoffrey Fry (private secretary to' the ex-Pre-mier, .Mr Baldwin). The ‘‘Daily Telegraph” hints that the King will presently find means of recognising. Mr Baldwin’s sci vices to the State. Obviously a distinction for him could not he included in the list published last night, which was prepared'by Mr. Baldwin, and was submitted to His Majesty by Air Ramsay MacDonald.
