An outstanding official disregard for common human ethics is suggested in an extraordinary story from NorthWest Australia. Knowing that the police have considerable trouble in transporting the body of a dead aborinal from Drysdale Mission to Wyndham, the authorities, it is stated, suggested that the head only he .conveyed. The aboriginal was named Gurrog, and is alleged to have been clubbed by a black named Nosendo. A death party is conveying the body to Wvndham together witli the accused and witnesses.
