General Gloek. a professor at the Hudapest Ludovika-Aeadeniy, lias invented a. system of typewriting which caii l»e used l*y tile Chinese. ITi* lias therefore been invited to pay an ollicial visit to 'Peking, hut lias 'not yet decided whether lie "ill accept it or not. The General is a, specialist in the art of typewriting, in which is known as the Gabelsberger system, which he has already adapted to the Turkish and lUilgarian languages.
