Major-General Lord Loch to be Captain of the Yb’omen of the Guard. ■ Mr-Ben Smith, who has lieen a member of Parliament for Rotlierhithe since 19?3, is the organiser of the Transport and General Workers’ Union, and has hem the Labour Party whip for three years. Mr Thomas .Henderson, who is sixty- • one years old, has been Labour member of Parliament for Tradeston, Glasgow, since 1922. He is the Scottish .Labour whip, and was prominent in the co-operative movement. Mr John 'Honrv Hayes is an expoliceman, and is a son of a police inspector. He has been Labour member of Parliament for Edgehiil, Liverpool, for six years.
