A Relief Fund. has been opened by His Worship the Mayor of Hokitika io supplement the Government Relief Fund and the District Relief Funds,which are now being established throughout tho Dominion for the urgent relief of the settlers and others, who have had their homes desolated and their properties destroyed. . >; Any donations will he thankfully received and should lie sent to the Town Clerk, Borough Office, or Box 15, Hokitika, who will acknowledge donations in the “Guardian.” Tho Town Clerk acknowledges with thanks the receipt of the following donation : Mr W.
