GAOL ESCAPEE
ARRESTED AT STILLWATER. CHARGES OF THEFT AT GREYMOUTH. (By Telegraph—Press Association). GREYMOUTH, June 25. Wilkin llainsdon Avery, aged 20, who escaped from Dunedin gaol on June 6th., while on remand on charges of burglary and conversion of a motor car, was arrested at Stillwater today. Avery had been working as a tiucKer in Dobson Mine under the alias of John William Marshall. He will appear to-morrow on four charges of breaking, entering and theft at Greymouth, business premises being entered on June 16th. Some of the stolen goods were in Avery’s possession.
