Lynch Cooper ,thc world’s professional sprint champion, and Jack Fitt. middle distance champion, have received an invitation for a four weeks’ tour of New Zealand at Christmas, competing at Christchurch and three other centres. The suggestion was made to them to take part in handicap and match races against the host Dominion athletes in order to stimulate professional running. Fitt is prepared to accent provided he can get the necessary leave and satisfactory terms.
