After' labouring all day long he refused to rest, despite women’s pleadings. Eventually he was taken to Lympne by the officials of the Imperial Airways. He could only say: “It is too terrible to describe. 1 tried to yiake the coast, and can say no more.” A member of the trawlers view said that with axes they slashed, open one side of the cabin, and saw the living among the dead. They worked a long time and rescued several of them.- The machine settled down in the sea and they could not carry on. The machine fell like a shooting star.
