Kendall, officer in charge of the local defences went aboard and greeted Captain Commandant Von Arnauld de la Periare, and Kapitan Lieut. Earnese Xreenberg.

One of the mementos in a room revealed that Commandant Peri ere had been in command of the German submarine U 35. None of the crow came ashore.
