TIMBER STRIKE
ONE YARD GIVES WAY. (Australian Press Association). SYDNEY, June 17. One of Sydney’s largest timber yards will resume work with Union labour, the volunteers having been dismissed. The owner stated the men were resuming on the Lukin award, but the Trades Hall reports claim it is a victory and that the terms of resumption favour the strikers.
