The death is recorded of Mr William Gaulter ,of Cobden, at the age of 63 years. He was latterly enlaced at Ogilvie’s sawmill, Gladstone Sidins: as head man, and was in former years a school teacher. Besides his widow he leaves a grown-up family, Mr Wm. Gaulter being a son, • while Mrs C. Dudley and Miss Gaulter are daughters. < *
A treat is in store for the lover of good music who attends the concert in the Jtimu Town Hall to-morrow (Wednesday) evening. A splendid concert programme has been arranged, some of the leading talent of Hokitika and surrounding districts offering their services.
