At the plenary session Mr Gibson spoke on the presentation of the committee report on unemployment. He said ho found himself in a hopeless minority. He disapproved of the report, as the same begged question which the Labour Office procrastinated year by year off-putting the question for further enquiry. Resolutions would not satisfy the workers. He referred to the Brazilian delegates l (‘allotment of populations which would bring labour to unoccupied lands. Apparently they were going to develop them when the President was asked to curtail the speech. Owing to the lateness of the hour Mr Gibson asked the postponement of the debate and the President refused. Mr Gibson continued that if Geneva fails the workers in finding a solution it will he a had day for Geneva. Unemployment'should be solved in a get-together-movement, and he suggested this.be considered.
