Disaffected diamond diggers have returned their district surgeon as an Independent Nationalist to the Union Parliament. Including the Cresswellites (Labour) Hertzog nffw commands a majority of eighteen; and including the Labour Couneillitcs, whose utterances show their desire is to associate with him, he has a .majority of 26. General Hertzog’s message to his supporters expatiates oil the glorious victory of the Nationalist Party, and also on their memorable services to South Africa. The Prime Minister, states the paper Afrikander, is deeply aggrieved at certain ninnifestatons and conduct apparent on the side of the opponents, which he asks them never to forget.
