A BIG CHEQUE
ROME, June 8. In accordance with the A atican agreement, Signor Marconi, the Min is ter of Finance, at yesterday morning’s ceremony, handed Cardinal Gasparri (the Papal Secretary ol State) a cheque for £8.156,250. The Papal Secretary now draws oil the Rank of Italy and the Italian Government five per cent bonds to the value olf £10,869,565.
