FRUIT CONTROL BOARD. GOVERNMENT NOMINEE. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, June 8. -The resignation of Colonel C. Gray, chairman of the New Zealand Fruit Export Control Board, necessitated the appointment of a Government nominee. The Minister of Agriculture announces that the position will he filled by Mr Dennis Neal, who is closely associated with the fruit export of Nelson province. There are two Government nominees on the hoard. WRESTLER’S FATAL INJURY. HAMILTON, June 6. A verdict of accidental death was returned last night at the inquest on Frederick Alfred Al’Kenzie, aged thirty-three, a single man, of Pio Pio, who died of peritonitis following the rupture of a gastric ulcer in a friendly wrestling bout with Paraone Hari.
