FRUIT CONTROL BOARD. GOVERNMENT NOMINEE. (By Telegraph—Press Association). WELLINGTON, June 8. -The resignation of Colonel C. Gray, chairman of the New Zealand Fruit Export Control Board, necessitated the appointment of a Government nominee. The Minister of Agriculture announces that the position will he filled by Mr Dennis Neal, who is closely associated with the fruit export of Nelson province. A verdict of accidental death was returned last night at the inquest on Frederick Alfred Al’Kenzie, aged thirty-three, a single man, of Pio Pio, who died of peritonitis following the rupture of a gastric ulcer in a friendly wrestling bout with Paraone Hari.
