EMDEN'S VISIT
R.S.A. ATTITUDE. NOT UNANIMOUS. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Juno 4. That in view of the I act that tho New ZealamU Returned Soldiers’ Association, in common with other exservice men’s organisations, throughout the world, is now working Hor the establishment of world peace, this Executive of the Christchurch R.S.A. dissociates itself from the resolution If rallied by i section of its members at last Thursday evening’s social regarding tho visit of the “ Emden,” and regrets that publicity was given to the resolution as representing the official view of the Christchurch R.S.A.” The above motion was carried unanimously at a--meeting of the Executive of flic Christchurch R.S.A. to-night. The previous resolution referred to voiced objection to any cicic function or entertainment being given to the crow of the vessel.
