. .MINERS’. STRIKE. SYDNEY, June 3. • A strike of. two Southern coal mines has rendered 700 men idle. At fecar''borough the stoppage was duo to the refusal of the minors’ request to reinstate a man who had walked off the job. At Dajvto, the trouble arose out of the miners’ refusal to work an extra night shift. The result of these strikers will be serious lor-the Northern colliery men, for whom the miners at work are levied 12J per cent. ART UNION PRIZE. H. E. HOLLAND’S SON WINS £3,000 , SYDNEY, June 4.
