AGED MAN KILLED
VICTIM KNOCKED DOWN BY CAT’

CHRLSTCH FILCH. May 31
While crossing the road at the clock tower corner, at flic intersection of Manchester. Lichfield and High Streets late this afternoon, an old man, about 70 years of age, was knocked down and run over by a motor. and died in the hospital shortly after. The identity of The victim as yet is unknown. The wheels of the car passed over his head and neck, inflicting very severe wounds.
