The dnngor oil’ young boys sailing in deep water in- canvas canoes was stressed at an inquest to-dav on Krio Douglas, 17, drowned at Island Hay on Saturday. The boy’s father thought the canoes should be destroyed. He had warned his boy on several occasions. The Coroner said mankind even for hundreds and thousands of years had been finding out what makes for stability in the.water. These youths wanted to go back where man was all those years ago, and gain their own experience. It was very unfortunate. A constable in evidence had previously remarked there was no law against if and no restrictions over children.
