NEW AWARD. (By Telegraph—Per Press Association.) WELtLINGTOX May 29. Alter two days’ discussion in the Conciliation Council by representatives of the Master Buiiddrs and contractors and the employees of the Dominion engaged in the bricklaying trade, a complete agreement was readied. The new award, which will operate for a term of two years from a date to he delivered by the Court cl Arbitration, brings wages up- to tlie Arbitration Court’s rate for this class of work, namely 2/4* per hour. r lhc working hours remain much the same as in the previous award, and the other conditions are on the lines of other building trades.
