STONES THROWN.
SYDNEY, May 22. Houses at Weveirley, Paddington, and Drummoyne, were damaged tin’s morning by stones being thrown at them. Tt is alleged the stones wore thrown by strikers or their sympathisers, who drove round in a motor car. The inmates (.‘scaped narrowly. Bunches of fireworks were thrown through broken windows. The nibtacks were not confined to Ihe homes of volunteer workers.
