THE CAMBRIDGE DISTRICT. With the dairying season nearing its end the Cambridge Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., lias paid out for butterfat supplied up to the end of April, the sum of £232,000, as against £197,000 for the corresponding period of last year, an increase in favour oi the present season of £3-1,900. For April supply the company will advance £14,300 on basis of Is 4d per lb for both butter and cheese, against £13,000 for April last season, when the basis of payment was Is 3J-d for butter and Is od for cheese. The company’s supply shows an increase of (5 per cent ovor April, 1928. For the same period the Brunt wood Cheese Company received ■987.3801 b milk, which > produced' 30,019 lb fat, as against 647,4901 b milk and ~ j, 0331b fat last year. NORTHERN WAIROA. Tho Northern Wairoa Company’s butter payment for the month of April, 1929, was £18,060, compared with £14,730 for April, 1928. The season’s make to date has realised £259,640, compared with £210,105, ail nereasc of £49,534. MAUNGATUIIOTO. For last month’s output theMaungaiuroto faotory, at Is 5d per lb, paid out £2740, aginst £2190 at Is 4d for April, 1928. The season’s payment has in-j ■eased wonderfully from £38,659 iii 1928, to £56,385 Tor the current season.
