SUBSIDY FOR PALMERSTON NORTH. PALMERSTON N., May 19. Sir Joseph Ward informed the Mayor on Saturday that the Government wns willing to subsidise up to £IOO9 drainage work contemplated in the district to help the relief of unemployment in Palmerston North.
