MISSING FISHERMEN

LOCATED ON ISLAND. WHAKATANE, May 18. The launch party of six fishermen, which has been missing from Matata for five days, was located on Rurima Island, and two of the party were brought to Whakatane by a launch last evening. The others were*able to get away in their own launch. The party was driven on the island in the storm, and had to repair the launch. They lived on two loaves of bread and five fishes, which thev had Aught, together with some mutton birds they captured. They obtained rainwater for drinking purposes, there being no springs on the island. The party were none the worse for their adventure.
