The Ministry of Transport records show an astonishing growth in the use of motors, both personal and goods traffic throughout Britain, proving tlie use of the motor car is fourfold compared with 1925, while goods traffic, has doubled, says 'the “Daily News.” One main road in the neighbourhood of London is carrying nearly fifteen million tons of traffic yearly, which is unprecedented' throughout the world, while the MauohesterLivcrpool road carries fourteen million tons, and East London exit twelve millions. It is also revealed that goods traffic is making longer a,lid more frequent journeys especially at night time . Details show the trams declined and horses are dying out. Push hikes are still stupendously used.
