Mr Stimson declared that Federal reserve officials must abstain from’ participation in the work of the proposed international bank, being discussed by reparations experts in Paris. Stimson stated that while United States looks with interest and sympathy upon the work progressing in Paris, this agreement does not desire to,have any American officials participate in the collection of German reparations, through a bank or otherwise. Moreover, the Federal reserve officials would not bo permitted to select American representations to serve on tlie proposed bank.
