WEST COAST RUCBY UNION. Tho weekly meeting was lielcl at Grey mouth last evening. Referees’ reports were read and received. In reference to referees’ reports it was resolved to refer the adverse, reports to the clubs concerned for their attention. A letter was received from Mrs F. M. Dennchy re the Shield presented for schools’ competition, sotting out conditions re same. Ihe shield wih he called the Campbell Shield, and will bear the following inscription:— “ The Campbell Shield presented by Mrs F. M. Dennchy, in memory of John, Felix, and Thomas Campbell, for competition among schools in the West Coast Rugby Union district, April, 1929.” The shield to bo competed Tor annually. , it was resolved that the application of A. Rodgers for transfer from United to Blaketown Club be referred back to the United Club for I heir consent. The application of k\ N. Glover for transfer from Cooden juniors to Mn ,y----pio seniors was held over I r one week. Confirmation was received from the New Zealand Union of the disqualification of five years of J. Westland Football Association- wrote requesting use of Park for tho Bth oi 22nd June, to play Nelson (challengers) for the Peter Dawson Cup. It was resolved to let the Association have use of the ground on Bth June on same conditions as last season. Two players were admitted to the code on filling in the required form.
