The General Manager of Railways has decided to extend the facilities for parties travelling by rail, by making it competent for any Stationmaster, passenger agent, or business agent to issue permits authorising the issue of concession tickets. Hitherto three days’ notice had to be given and applications submitted to the District Traffic Manager for approval. The only proviso now stipulated is that opportunity must be taken to ascertain that the :rolling .'stock can be 'made available for the party.
