INVESTMENT TRUST

A HUGE DEAL. (United Press Association —By Electric telegraph—Copyright). NEW YORK, May 7. The largest investment trust in the world, with ultimate resources of a thousand million sterling is the vision of John Raskob, and is being discussed by leading bankers. It will be a new type of corporation which is unknown at present anywhere in the world, with elements of investment trust and somewhat upon the principles of an insurance company. The Corporation would lie formed for the definite purpose of making American workers independent- in old age plan, and includes the sale of certificates under a system similar to the group insurance idea. It would become the largest single stock holder in such Corporations as United Steel, General Motors, General Electric and Radio, and deal a direct blow at the country’s greatest financial evil, stockswindling.
