The visitors explained the position nl the coal miners and at the end of their addresses, resolutions were unanimously ad pied to render financial assistance. The Sen melt’s Union agreed to donate. by way of a levy, one day’s wages monthly, which would yield not less than £IOO9 monthly: 'The Waterside Workers also agreed to levy themselves every pay day while the struggle continues.
