MARRIAGE AGE. RAISED JN BRITAIN. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY. May 4. A Bill to raise the legal age of marriage to sixteen years for both sexes passed through all its stages in the House of Commons yesterday, without opposition. Only the Royal assent ts now tiecejsfta.ry to make it effective. Hitherto the legal age has been twelve for boys and fourteen for girls.
