FIRE IN TIMBER YARD

A lire broke out in the timber yards of Smith tiros., at Mascot, an hour after the yards were left unwatched for the first time for some weeks past. The brigades prevented the blaze spreading and only about CSOO damage was done, it is believed a deliberate attempt was made to burn the timber.
