SIR THOMAS LIPTON CHALLENGES.

Sir Thomas Lipton through the Royal Ulster Yacht Club has challenged the New York Yacht Club to race at Sandy Hook course for the America Cup, for which he is building a new yaotyt, “Shamrock A r ,” which must cross the Atlantic to compete. Sii Thomas Lipton despite his age, 79 years, keeps evergreen like his emerald painted yacht. His ambition is to regain the America Cup for Britain.
