BRUTAL ASSAULTS
ON LOYAL TIMBER WORKERS (Australian Press Association) (Received this day at 9. a.m.) SYDNEY, May 4. Further brutal assaults on loyal timber workers in the past few days, swelled tho total of those attacked to forty-nine. Last night, in a savage assault at Petersham, two men were knocked to die ground and kicked in the Face, head and body. The assailants made ■iff in a waiting ear. Tho men were taken to the hosnitnl covered in blood and suffering from concussion.
