A HEAVY BURDEN. (Australian Press Association) (United Service.) SYDNEY, May 2. A statement by Overseas Shipping Representatives Association views with concern- the additional heavy burden placed upon shipowners by the four shillings increase in the Australian bnsie wage, which will largely benefit waterside workers. It. is estimated tlie increased cost to shipowners is £IOO,OOO annually, apart from £23,000 due to the rennposition of the Child Endowment Tax.
