THE FRIENDS of the late TONY MATICH,. who losit hi.s life in the recent drowning accident at Lake Mudgee on the 28th. inst. desire to thank .especially, Mrs Devaney of Hokitika and the members of her family, Sergeant King, Constable Best. Mr Guthrey and all other willing helpers for their kind assistance and sympathy extended to us upon this sad occasion. We also desire to express our keen appreciation of the universal sympathy and kindly feeling extended by one and all of the people of this district generally, and we would like the members of the Excelsior Football Club to know that we appreciate in a very marked degree the beautiful wreath presented by the fellow members of deceased in that club.
