CHRYSANTHEMUM SHOW
The Annual Show of the-Chrysanthe-mum Society is being field at the Soldiers’ Hall this afternoon and evening. The Show this year equals any of its predecessors, especially in the cut blooms. Mr J. J, Breeze carried out the duties of judge of the Chrysanthemum classes in his usual able manner. M.rs Preston judged the cooking classes and Mrs Staveley and Mrs.Bniee-Baird the decorative and fancy work classes, Mrs G. Perry the school section, and gave exhibitors every satisfaction in their decisions. The Show is open from 2.30 p.m. to 10 p.m. and is well worthy of a visit. The following a*e the awards:—
The Yarrall rose howl trophy for best bloom in the Show was won by Mrs H. Fitzgerald, who also was awarded the silver cup for four best blooms. The Coulson silver cup was won by Mr Askew.
