The • Advisory County Cricket Committee has extended the duration : of the five test pmtehos in which England and Australia will meet in England next year from three to lour days, with a provision that the last test shall bo played to. a finish if the rubber depends upon it. The dates for the 1930 tests have been fixed as follows ; Nottingham, June 13 to 1/ : Lords, June 27 to Jul\ 1; Leeds, July 11 to 15; Manchester, July 25 to 29) Oval, August 26 to 30. The last-named will he played out il necessary.
