Tn the Police Court this morning. .Mr H. W. Bundle. S.M., delivered hi-, reserved judgment in cases arising out of the consumption of liquor in the Somerset Lounge of the Savoy on the occasion of a welcome to Major' and Lady MncKae. After careful consideration. His Worship held that the Somerset Lounge was not a restaurant, and the information was dismissed. In a- case in which Phillip Barling and Leonard McKemlrick Sattertliwaite were clou-god with soiling: liquor to Constable Turgis without. l>ein<r licenced to sell same. His Worship said that each defendant was charged under Section 11)5 of Licensing Act. |!iUB, with selling liquor to one William Turgis. without being duly licensed to do so. The two informations were heard together and eou|< |,e dealt with at the same time. H did not think that the prosecution Inn established that any sale ol li ( l"°' took place, and the charge agains each of the defendants must fail. Ila information would be dismissed. r
