COPENHAGEN, April 20
"While the Great Powers were arguing ah,.lit disarmament,, Denmark has made it an election issue. As the result, the Socialists, in combination with the Radical Liberal Party, have secured 77 seats.
All other parties combined have seemed sixty-eight seats. The Prime Minister, M. Madsen Mygdnl, has accordingly tendered his resignation.
It seems certain that the King will ask the Socialist leader, M. Stauning, to form a Cabinet, after which the So. <in lists will introduce a Bill transforming . the Pnnish Army’ into n police force, and the Danish Navy into const guards.
The Danish Senate is practically certain to reject the Bill. The Socialists will then use administrative means ,to reduce the national expenditure on (armaments to a minimum.
