The Board met at S p.m. Present: Aicssrs J. •). Breeze (Chairman), G. Davidson, R. Alelmrry, W. Jeffries. A. B. .Spiers, Al. Keenan, and E. A. Wells. The minutes were confirmed and correspondence outward approved. An apology was made for the absence of Air Duff. VOTE OF CONDOLENCE.
The Chairman moved that the Board recoril its deep sympathy with Air R. A. Wells and family in their recent iboroavement. Carried in silence, members standing. * IX W AIH) CORK ESI »0 X DEN CE. Emm Hospital Association, report of Conference.—Received.
From Department of Health, agreeing to overdraft of £750. —Received.
From AY. AlcKav and Son asking for share of business.—Received.
From Ain trim Llovd applying For 14 days leave.—Received and granted.
From AY. Harcourt applying to lease cottage at AA’aiho.—Received. From R. Al. Thompson resigning position as Wardsman at Old People’s Home.—Received.
Urom Murchison County Council asking for returns.— Received : to be supplied. From Hokitika Borough Council asking lor particulars of receipts and expenditure in respect to farming branch of AA'estland Hospital.—Received.
From AA'estland County Council notifying the Council object to the levy and suggesting the expenditure he reviewed.—Received.

The estimates for the levy as submitted to tin* Idea! bodies were approved mid struek as follows: £ s. d.
REPORTS
The Treasurer reported receipts £340 18s (id, payments £llO7 4s 4d, credit balance £ll7 Os 4d.—Received. Accounts amounting to £342 19s 4d
were passed for payment. From Surgeon Superintendent importing in Hospital on Ist Alareh there were 33 patients, admitted dining March 19 males. 13 females, total treated 42 males, 23 females—os. Discharged cured 22 malts, 10 females, relieved 1 male, 1 lemale, died 3 males, female. Total discharged 20 males, 18 females—4l. In Hospital on 31st March 10 males. 5 females--21. In Hospital for two months 8 males. 1 female—9.—Received;' The Board discussed outstanding accounts and action on 'certain lines was agreed to. The Board rose at 9.15 p.m.
